Welcome to

New Park Court Chambers

"Regarded as ‘one of the most prominent sets for crime in the North of England’."
- Legal 500 2015

Private Client

"Clients 'would strongly recommend New Park Court Chambers to anyone looking for a strong criminal or regulatory lawyer'."
- Chambers and Partners 2016

POCA

Prosecution authorities are increasingly making applications under the Proceeds of Crime Act following convictions in many criminal cases. Applications can be made in cases involving a variety of offending including fraud, theft and drug related cases.

Our members are kept abreast of the latest updates in this continually expanding area of criminal law and work hard to achieve the best result for the client whether it be negotiating the extent of a ‘criminal lifestyle’ or reducing any benefit figure proposed by the prosecuting authority.

Proceeds of Crime Applications are often more complicated than the actual criminal trials which proceeded them. Members are able to accept instructions to act purely in relation to a Proceeds of Crime Application.
