Clinical Negligence

Senior members of the Personal Injury team have wide experience of clinical negligence cases including those involving severe and incapacitating injury including profound handicap caused during labour, failure to diagnose serious conditions including cancer and cardiovascular disease and negligent treatment leading to death. We have recently advised on defective breast implants among other cases of defective cosmetic surgery. Our experience of these cases gives our barristers wide clinical knowledge and the skills to deal with medical experts at a high level. Counsel are increasingly instructed in mediations and settlement meetings to bring these cases to a satisfactory conclusion without the trauma of a court hearing in these very sensitive and difficult cases.
